CTLpack VITORIA, S.A.U. reaffirms its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the circular economy through the development of the TUBOLIGHT project—an R&D initiative focused on creating a new generation of plastic packaging tubes that are lighter, recyclable, and contain a higher proportion of post-consumer recycled material.

Through this initiative, CTLpack has incorporated an innovative extrusion-decoration technology into its production processes, enabling the manufacture of packaging with a reduced amount of virgin plastic resin while maintaining the product’s functional, mechanical, and aesthetic properties.

This initiative is being carried out within the framework of the HAZITEK 2025 Business R&D Support Program, promoted by the Basque Government and managed by the SPRI Group, whose objective is to encourage research and development projects that strengthen the competitiveness of the Basque industrial sector.

The investments made are part of project ZL-2025/00392, which has received co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
